Leadership Allegany Steering Committee

Leadership Allegany is a nine-month program designed to educate community leaders by identifying regional issues and gaining a deeper understanding of the leadership structure within and beyond Mountain Maryland. The program begins in September each year with an orientation and concludes in June with graduation ceremonies.

Each month class members identify and address pressing issues facing the county and deal with topics such as education, social services, economic development, local and state government, tourism, healthcare, and the environment.
