The Allegany County Chamber of Commerce is the oldest Chamber in the State of Maryland. Organized in 1906, the Chamber is a central agent in corralling the forces of the community for its improvement and development — in business, industry, and the professions. Today, there are 350 members in the Allegany County Chamber of Commerce bringing about positive changes across the region by:
Providing business resources to local companies
Increasing job and job training opportunities
Fostering growth within the community
Promoting Allegany County, Maryland as a great place to live & work
Promoting private enterprise competition
